Duvets hold on to soap residue easily, so don’t use too much and make sure to use a soap that will wash out completely (like our Tea Tree Laundry Soap!).
Protect your boxes; never shake a wet duvet. Use a washing machine with no agitator arm (front load), and transfer to the dryer with a hug. Add a clean dryer ball to help the duvet move about and dry completely.
Putting your bedding out in the sun is also a great way to sanitize without the environmental impact of washing. Just put your bedding out on a sunny day, 15-20 minutes on each side. The UV light will sanitize the surface, where dust mites love to live. Do this every few months, and you’ll enjoy fresh bedding and deep breaths!
